fall trend: gray is my favorite color, i felt so symbolic yesterday

I broke out my fall boots for the first time today in months. I was actually pretty excited to wear them since it seems like lately I was always wearing havaianas or ballet flats. Since I hadn't worn them in forever, I had to dig them out of the black hole, shoe graveyard known as our storage closet. After quite an impressive balancing act, I recovered the shoes from hibernation and they were happily adorning my feet as I strolled through the Mission this afternoon.

This got me to thinking about getting another pair of boots and for this season I am loving gray. Grey is everywhere not just in boots but I have been lusting after gray boots for over a year now. So I think it's high time I got some for the brisk fall days ahead...
