I know I have been all about the fall forecast but let's just take a minute to check out the Spring 2008 collections and I promise I will get back to fall. I was inspired to write about spring when I noticed the splendid looks from the set of the new SATC movie. The collections have been gorgeous so far including Erin Fetherston who my dear friend Colleen works for in NYC. I love the whimsical look of her party dresses including this one...

fall trend: gray is my favorite color, i felt so symbolic yesterday

I broke out my fall boots for the first time today in months. I was actually pretty excited to wear them since it seems like lately I was always wearing havaianas or ballet flats. Since I hadn't worn them in forever, I had to dig them out of the black hole, shoe graveyard known as our storage closet. After quite an impressive balancing act, I recovered the shoes from hibernation and they were happily adorning my feet as I strolled through the Mission this afternoon.

This got me to thinking about getting another pair of boots and for this season I am loving gray. Grey is everywhere not just in boots but I have been lusting after gray boots for over a year now. So I think it's high time I got some for the brisk fall days ahead...
